Happy April Fools Day.   Did you play any tricks on anyone?

What is happening in Jackman in April?  Pretty much nothing. You cannot ice fish, nor open water fish, snowmobile trails are close and ATV trails are not open yet. You could try hiking but your feet will either get muddy or you slide on the snow that still remains on the ground.

BUT you can get away from reality for a few days, play cards with a friend, cook a “gourmet”  (LOL) meal in the cabin or order a Pizza from Bishops, watch a sunset from your cabin, sit out on the deck as the many birds migrate through the area this month, perhaps even watch “ice out” on Big Wood.  Sometimes this is all we need.
