Cabo still loves Murphy

Murphy-s boyfriend Cabo, stayed with us last night with his Mom and Dad. This morning, Mom told me that when they let him out to “do his thing”, he went over to where Murphy is buried and started sniffing and did not want to leave there. I think he can still smell her and was hoping she would be there to play. 🙁

Even though we, here at Cozy Cove Cabins, think you need to leave the laptops at home, turn off the cell phones and slow down a bit when you stay in Jackman, we do realize that quicker-faster is the way of things. So for those of you who cannot find the time 😉 to type in a our phone number or GPS coordinates into your smart phone, we now offer you QR Codes (Quick Response Codes are used with smartphones and any camera phone with the correct reader application) on our website 😯

Simply, go to our Contact Us page and scan the QR code for our phone number, map info, or Facebook link to Like Us

See, just because we prefer not to always be connected to the internet or to carry a cell phone around, does not mean that we do not understand that many others do ❗

Almost open water

Here is a snapshot from our Webcam today. It won-t be long now before Ice Out

There is only one LONG strip of ice that is running about the length of the lake to Moose River. The wind yesterday and today should help to break it up. Call soon to start open water fishing in Jackman.

Enjoy life

We had a young lady stay with us this week, trying to heal her heart I assume, although she said naught to me. She was joyous, happy, loving the moment when we talked. When she left, we read what she wrote in the cabin journal. What she wrote may be smile and cry at the same time. We should ALL take her advise as tis true, life is precious and can be taken from us at any moment. Cherish what and who you have today.

“all these things and more reminded me that life is precious and even with my sorrows, I need to cherish what I have now. I know now that I can truly be happy again And I have you to thank for that. God bless. Cherish life, laugh out loud, sing in the shower, make a food of yourself, be silly, take the leap of faith, do something kind for a stranger, make a grumpy old man laugh and smile, whatever you do make sure you live happy
