Jackman Trail Report December 2010
We have the snow ❗ The groomers have been going out. The reports from our guests is that the trails north and east are in great condition. Some bumpy areas on the in town trails but not bad. Armstrong trails to the clubhouse are good also as they too had a lot of snow. I should have details on trails south later tonight and will update this in the morning.
For those of you lucky enough to have booked early for the New Years weekend, you should have a great time with some good riding and fishing.
Weather for 12-28-10
This is an image from our webcam this morning. The green tint is I think due to how cold the poor thing is. It is about 5 degrees and the wind chill can go as low as a minus 15 today. The good news…the sun wants to shine 🙂 so it should look like a beautiful day.
Our snowmobilers have raved about the trails so far. The lake is frozen although some areas may not be safe so please use caution and BUNDLE UP!

Yesterday 48 and raining, today 18 (feels colder) and a dusting of snow on the ground. More snow (3-6 inches) due in by tomorrow.

Yesterday, we posted the comparison of December 12, 2010 with the same day in 2009. And here we are a day later…
I am not concerned though as the cold air is on its way again and all that water is just going to freeze over.

I took a snapshot from our webcam and found one from the same day last year. Great comparison. You can see how much open water we had at this time last year 😯
And it is snowing again now ❗ YAHOO!

December 4, 2010 snow
Again, sorry about the webcam blackout but this shot shows our Maggie running to me in the snow and also the lake freezing along the shore:!:
Webcam down 12-4-10
We truly apologize but the webcam is not showing an image. Please do not panic:!: We got about 4 inches + of snow overnight so either the cam is covered with snow or we need to reset it. We will get it all happy and working soon. Plus I have already taken some snow images…it is very pretty out and the lake is skimmed over from the shore out.
