After a couple rain showers yesterday, today is turning out to be a beautiful day 🙂 A gentle breeze and blue skies, the smell of campfires and the sounds of kids playing…life is good.

At least once a week this past month, some of our regular guests and even those guests new to us who have enjoyed the videos of Murphy on the website have asked when they arrived “where-s Murphy?”
Well yesterday was the best: When Heather and her Mom checked in, little Heather, who has been coming here since she was still in Moms tummy, asked this same question. When I could not answer her (what do you say to a 5 year old) she said “well if Murphy is not here, I am going home!” Of course, she only meant “home” to her cabin but her words said it all. She will be missed.

Remember when you could only get cell service at Attean lookout? When the running joke around Cozy Cove was that if you went to the end of the dock, raised one arm and one leg, you might get cell service? (watch the video link below)

I miss those days 🙁 as I see cell phones attached to people-s ears around town and around camp or when guests call us from their cabin instead coming over and talking to us in person or when a guests talks on his cell phone more then he talks to his S.O. here while on vacation. What-s up with that ❓
Don-t get me wrong. It really is good that there is the option to use a cell phone when needed but I think using it or a computer while on holiday in Jackman kinda defeats the purpose of getting away from it all doesn-t it ❓
The fish monger from North Country Seafood was in town today. During the summer months and usually through October, she comes into town every Friday with a truck of fresh lobster, scallops and other fish. Keep that in mind when planning your holiday at Cozy Cove Cabins. See you soon ❗
Great salmon fishing weekend for our guests. ATV trails opened and it-s a beautiful day. 🙂 A little cool breeze but the sun is out and the skies are blue. Life is good ❗
Good news for ATV riders ❗ The ATV trails in Jackman will be opening early this year. Instead of Memorial Weekend, they will be ready to ride on May 15th…that is this weekend. 🙂 YAHOO ❗ ❗ SO come on up. Don-t forget,you do not have to trailer out when you stay at here at Cozy Cove Cabins. You can access the trail system from your cabin 😀
As most of our regulars know, we lost Murphy this year. Since June was her birthday month, (actually it is the month she found us back in 1997) we chose to dedicate June as a “Happy Birthday month” for all the dogs that may stay with us. We will waive the pup fee and your pup will get a little gift from us.:D
