Weather update January 29, 2010

We did finally get some snow that started yesterday but then the winds started. Blew pretty hard all night so it is hard to say if there was any accumulation.
Right now, 11am, the temperature here at Cozy Cove Cabins is a minus 2 degrees and if the wind is blowing at 20mph, which it feels like, then the wind chill is at minus 40? I did check Bishops weather station in town and the wind there is only at 13mph...
I took this picture from our back deck this morning.


If you are coming up to ride this weekend, be prepared Trail master is saying that the trails are still in good condition, especially to the north.
