This is what it was like this morning. An easy 6-7 inches but since it was so heavy, there could have been more that actually fell. Snowmobilers are in heaven.

WOW this is my favorite time of year. Hot sunny days and cool relaxing nights. Today is not an exception.

I almost wish the rains would come. It is about 80 out here with the humidity at 90%...whew! Even Murphy is too hot to move around.

Down in Skowhegan this morning about 9am is was so HUMID-I wish I knew what the temp and humidity was. The air felt thick and hazy. But as I drove home,up 201, I could feel the air getting cooler and the skies bluer.

Finally after weeks of rain or overcast skies (although I think we had more periods of sunshine then most of Maine) yesterday was hot, sunny and humid. I could do away with the humidity but by evening, the winds kicked up and it cooled us off.

On the news this morning, they said that we should get from 1-4 inches when it is all done. Well, it is 9AM and we already have about 4 inches of wonderful light snow. And it is still snowing hard.

It is snowing pretty hard at this time. Reports are that we could get from 10-15 inches so the groomers will be going out tonight to make the trails tip top for weekend riders. Come on up-the trails are fantastic.

We are receiving all good comments about the snowmobile trails in the Jackman region so far. The weather forecast is about 10 inches due to fall by tomorrw and already, I saw some flakes starting, so the trails can only get better. Thanks Missy for another great report!
