Bucky Lewis made his second visit to Jackman this weekend and the show was even better. Some things were the same but being in a more intimate environment, plus being at a pub, made it all more fun. Below is a little collage I made of the show.

We often get asked how far to Jackman from wherever or how many miles by quad or snowmobile. SO below are some mileage and travel time information for you. These are not exact but should give you a good idea.

ATV NEWS UPDATE:
The Border Riders Club and Pittston Farm have been working on a trail system to connect and were waiting for the state to move the toll booth/gate. FINALLY, it is moved.

They are signing the trail today and are planning to have this trail open by Friday.

There is a fishmonger in town on Friday afternoons selling lobster, crab, and other fresh seafoods. Just ask ask for a lobster pot.

It is that time again. Mud season has begun. Our driveway is almost void of ice and snow. Which means, it is time for the Ice out on Big Wood contest here at Cozy Cove Cabins. Last year it went out on May 3rd.

On the news this morning, they said that we should get from 1-4 inches when it is all done. Well, it is 9AM and we already have about 4 inches of wonderful light snow. And it is still snowing hard.

Groomers went last night on all the trails in the Jackman Region and will go tonight with reports all favorable for great conditions. Watch for icy corners.

Talk about an excited town. Our basketball team from Forest Hills School in Jackman has made it to the Western Regional Basketball Tournaments happening today at the Augusta Civic Center. This is the first time in 10 years that our team has gone this far.

The other evening, around 6:30, we and our friends Mike and Diane went for a little boat ride on the lake. It was a bit choppy at first but at a slow pace, it was nice. The colors of the water, sky and shadows on the mountains was incredible.
