Due to a technical issue with the company who does our fireworks, the 4th of July celebration will be on Saturday July 2nd this year.  Keep in mind, since it was their need to change the date, we will get a bigger then normal display. For those of you who have been in Jackman on the 4th, this company ALWAYS does an incredible job.  See you then.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The Freedom Race was a huge success last year. The event will start at 10am on July 2.  You will need to BIKE to Jackman landing, CANOE or KAYAK to the  boat launch on Big Wood then RUN to the town park. Prizes will be awarded. The parade will begin from the school at 4pm. If you want to participate in the parade, you must register at the Fire Dept buy 2pm. Prizes awarded for Most patriotic, most outrageous Most community spirit and best vehicle.

For our guests staying here that weekend, after the parade is our Annual Potluck Picnic. Bring a dish to share and a chair.
